The farm is open from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM. It closes earlier in winter. For your safety, visitors can be admitted into the farm no later than 5:00 PM, which is 1 hour before closing.
-

-
Is there a shuttle bus within the farm?

The shuttle bus is free.

What are the grazing hours for the cattle?
The cattle will be out in the pastures until 4:00 PM. The milking cows graze in summer and they travel from pasture to pasture every day. As Daegwallyeong Farm is 19.835k㎡, you may not be able to find the grazing cows.
Therefore, we have fenced some pastures to keep the cattle inside for the visitors to watch. However, they may not be available for you to watch as they go inside for milking from 4:00 PM.

How is the whether at the farm?
You have to check the weather forecast every day. Daegwallyeong is one of the snowy places in Korea and it sometimes snows in April. It is quite chilly so you may need long sleeves even in summer. Please bring extra clothing. Please check our website as admissions may not be available when the weather conditions are bad. Please call us or check our website before visiting us.
-
We want to take a tour by car.
We are afraid that taking a tour by car is not allowed. Daegwallyeong Samyang Roundhill has unpaved roads and the cars within the farm have caused traffic congestion and dust. Therefore, we have stopped admitting personal vehicles and started operating shuttles. Please understand that this allows more pleasant hiking for those who tour on foot.
-
Can we ride the ATV?
We are afraid that any form of transportation is not admitted except for the shuttles we operate. The 4-wheeled motored vehicles (ATV) have caused complaints of other tourists on foot due to dust and noise. We will try to develop and provide more outdoor programs in the future.
-
Are there accommodations?
We are afraid that the accommodations within the farm are under renovation. We will notify you when the accommodations open soon.
